As you know, we have been closely monitoring the status of the Pandemic. Before deciding to lock in and host a physical show, we called every retailer so we could get a count of how many would commit to attending a physical show in Orlando this October.

We got the following results:

 

  • 30% Confirmed as attending.

  • 60% Would not feel comfortable attending a physical show.

  • 10% Have not responded.
     

Based on these results we have now cancelled the
October 2020 Orlando CBG Show.

 

With everyone's health and safety in consideration, we have decided to invest in our own private virtual platform. During our phone calls with retailers, we shared our plans for a CBG Virtual Show and they were very excited about moving forward with this option.

We have participated in several demos, and the technology is very user friendly and lifelike. Since this will be our own platform, we will be able to have a huge amount of flexibility and unlimited options. We will begin with beta testing with a small group of our retailers and suppliers the end of August. If these beta tests go well, we will host our first CBG Virtual Show on September 22-25, 2020. Considering all of our west coast suppliers and retailers, we will be extending the hours to accommodate those time zones as well.

We actually started developing this platform months ago since we felt it would be an excellent tool for our retailers and suppliers to stay connected in between shows. We have created packages that are very affordable. We will also allow you to continue to schedule meetings and keep using the CBG platform through the end of 2020.

The cost effectiveness of our Virtual Platform makes participation a “no brainer”. We expect every one of our authorized suppliers to participate and show support for the CBG office and retailers and be among the first to help us move into this new frontier.

K and the Bluestar team will be available to help you prepare for the event and make sure that you have everything you will need in place. The CBG office will help with matchmaking suppliers with retailers whenever possible from the date of the show through the end of 2020. Details to follow.
