Van Cott Jewelers, located in Vestal, New York, has quite a remarkable history! The jewelry retail store opened its doors in 1920 and now, 100 years later, the store is still going strong. The business has been locally family owned for the 100 years it has been in business. In 1979, the current owner and third generation jeweler William (Bill) Levine entered the family business. Today, Bill and his wife Birdie, who began her career in the jewelry industry as a jewelry designer and manufacturer in Los Angeles, run the store together, putting forward the Van Cott traditions and guidelines that began 100 years ago. Van Cott Jewelers exemplifies a full service retail store whose roots are from a time when the “little things” didn’t matter. Their mission is to provide their community with the finest quality jewelry and watches, all backed by legendary service.
